Empowering Healthcare Professionals, Saving Lives: Naijaid’s Commitment to Training and Impact

At Naijaid, we believe that investing in the training and development of healthcare professionals is crucial for building a stronger and more resilient healthcare system in Nigeria. We are proud to share some of our recent initiatives and the significant impact they are having.

Equipping Nurses with Life-Saving Skills

Naijaid recently held its Annual Intermediate Life Support Training for Nigerian Nurses, as seen in the image above. This intensive program, held on October 29th, 2024, at the Radisson Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, provided hands-on training and equipped nurses with essential skills in life support. This initiative is part of our commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and ensures that Nigerian nurses are well-prepared to handle emergency situations.

  • Hands-on training: The program included practical sessions to ensure nurses gained real-world experience.
  • On-site training: The training was conveniently held in Lagos, making it accessible to a large number of nurses.
  • Basic life support equipment: Attendees received essential equipment to support their training and future practice.

Partnering for Broader Impact

Naijaid also actively collaborates with other organizations to expand our reach and impact. As reported by Independent.ng, we have partnered with the Lagos State government to train youths in first aid, CPR, and emergency response. This collaboration is vital in empowering communities and ensuring that more people have the skills to save lives. LASG Partners Naijaid Charity to Train Youths on First Aid, CPR, Emergency
